Dogs can become protective not only to hoomans but to their fellow canines as well. They can sense when something is wrong and they will do whatever they can to help them. Doggos have amazing friendships and it is a very heartwarming thing to see.
Like fur siblings Laker and Roxy, they’ve grown very close to each other since they were puppies. Roxy the Catahoula Cur has always been there for her brother, Laker the Golden Retriever. They are well taken care of by their hooman and loves to be with each other all the time.
However, when Laker was only three months old, he started having seizures. When he was around six months old, his neurologist diagnosed him with a seizure disorder and started Laker on medications. Since then, the doggo has been feeling better but he still gets some episodes.
There are times that a seizure attack would cause Laker to run and cry with extreme confusion which is called psychomotor seizures. Recently, Laker had another episode and their Furbo camera at home was able to capture what happened.
As Laker started having seizures, Roxy immediately ran up to him and helped him control his seizure. She was able to stop the attack and made Laker feel better all of a sudden. Roxy isn’t trained to do this but she just wanted to make sure that her brother was alright.
Roxy has always been protective of everyone in their family so their hooman says that it was no surprise that she became protective of Laker as well. The two have an inseparable bond and it is obvious that these two doggos love each other so much.
Laker and Roxy always check up on each other to make sure that they are okay. They also spend their days playing and snuggling with each other. There is no doubt that Laker and Roxy were raised well to become very good doggos to everyone around them.
