When we think of the movie, Up, the image of a flying house with colorful balloons comes to mind. The Pixar movie revolves around Carl, an old man who’s long been dreaming of fulfilling the promise he made to his late wife, Ellie. As he goes on this journey, he meets Russell, a young Wilderness Explorer who also has a dream of his own: to finally receive his “Assisting the Elderly” badge.
So, what does the flying house with colorful balloons have to do with this? Well, that’s what Carl did to keep his promise. He used his skills in balloon making to make his house fly all the way to Paradise Falls in South Africa.
It’s a feel-good movie with interesting twists that will change the way you look at balloons. You won’t hate them; instead, you’ll develop a certain kind of appreciation for them.
Speaking of appreciating balloons, a dog from Mumbai, India, recently made rounds online for that reason. He was captured playing around with a bunch of colorful balloons on Christmas Day.
A dog’s curiosity
The balloons were tied to rocks wrapped in golden foil. They were having a grand time dancing with the fresh air from the ocean when the brown pooch noticed them. Curious, he ran towards the colorful floating balls to take a closer look at them.
The dog barked at the balloons, as if asking them to introduce themselves. When he didn’t receive any answer, he started running circles around them. That’s when he caught the attention of the people in the area.
Color contrast
What made this image even more breathtaking was that it happened during sunrise. The majestic sky was painted with beautiful hues of red, orange, and golden yellow. It was the perfect background for the pooch and his colorful toy balloons.
