Dogs are very intelligent animals. Some of them are trained to become service dogs guiding the blind. Some are trained to become rescue dogs. Some are trained to become very obedient house pets.
Trained or not, dogs are naturally loving to their humans. A certain dog owner, who did an experiment on his dog, could prove this without a doubt.
Penny is a small house dog who’s loved by her human dad. One day, her human dad decided to test how she would react if she saw him collapse in front of her. So he planned his move and set up a video recorder for his prank.
When everything was ready, Penny’s dad suddenly faked a heart attack and “collapsed” in front of her. She waited for him to move, but after a few moments, he was still motionless.
Penny became nervous. She approached her dad, sniffed the area around his right hand, and approached his face to smell him. After that, she went back to her bed and sat down to wait.
After waiting for a few more moments, however, dad wasn’t moving at all. She quickly jumped out from her bed, went to her human dad, and sniffed his hand and his face.
Soon, she started to wake her dad up, her tail wagging wildly. She would poke her paw in her dad’s face and roll down on his face to try and wake him up.
Penny saw her dad wasn’t responding. She took his cap off, playfully patted his dad on the shoulder using her paw, and kept pushing her head on her dad’s neck and face. She then rolled down towards his face one more time, hoping to wake him up.
To her surprise, her dad suddenly got up and grabbed her playfully. He admitted that he knew Penny knew he wasn’t dead, but still tried to wake him up. Penny was pretty persistent in doing that.
Penny is a good example of a dog who loves his human so much and knows him so well. She knew her dad was pretending to be dead, but she wouldn’t stop until she saw him standing up, alive and happy.
