Dogs have proven that they have the most empathic hearts on this planet. When they see someone who needs help, they do everything under their power to do so.
In this Golden Retriever’s book, helping isn’t just limited to one. Fred, a resident dog in a castle in England, proved it by adopting nine ducklings to boot.
What’s even more impressive is, Fred found them wandering around when they lost their mom. We’re not sure what happened to the little ducklings’ mom, but something had.
We will never know precisely what happened to her, but she’d be happy to know that a 10-year-old dog took her babies under his wing. You did her a solid, Fred!
The ducklings immediately took to the golden doggo. Perhaps they loved riding on his back for free, or maybe they knew that this golden giant would take care of them. Whatever it was, they knew they were safe.
That was a king-like move, Fred. You probably don’t know that living in a castle requires a character like yours, but we’re stoked that you didn’t serve just that. You went above and beyond!
That castle’s gonna be swamped with tourists wanting to see nine little yellow ducklings chilling on a golden doggo’s back. What a sight, and what a welcome one at that!
Fred, you made a legacy for yourself, and we salute you. Those babies are gonna grow up knowing that they were fortunate that you found them at that time. Lord knows what would have surely happened if you didn’t.
We appreciate you, your efforts, and most of all, we love that you followed your heart and took action. You’re going down history as the golden dog who adopted ducklings.
It’s a great legacy and an inspiration to all of us. Salute!
