Dogs love performing quirky activities every chance they have. Even while they’re in the middle of performing crucial tasks, canines find a way to insert a silly gesture.
Thus, a Mantle Great Dane pup amusingly drinks water from a garden hose. Though the puppy initially wants to help Mom water the plants, its impish nature bids it to try out the new skill instead.
Ooh, so you’re drinking from the hose now, huh?
In this adorably amusing footage, Maddie, a 4-month-old Mantle Great Dane, places her nose towards an object fur mom’s holding. But, if you go and take a closer look, you’ll realize that Maddie’s placing her snout on a garden hose.
Yet, the doggo doesn’t intend to grab the water hose from her fur mom as she merely laps up the water. But, as Maddie thinks that drinking from the hose’s fun, she repeats the gesture for the next few seconds.
Noticing Maddie’s funny gesture, Mom then asks if she wants to help her water the plants. And, in response, the Great Dane again takes a gulp from the water jet spouting from the hose.
Oops, don’t think about doing it, Maddie.
Impressed at the canine’s response, Mom praises Maddie for it. Happy with fur mom’s reaction, the impish doggo then laps up more of the water from the hose for a few more rounds.
Yet, Maddie thinks of something more fun to do as she soon leaves Mom with the watering chore. Intrigued with what the Great Dane’s thinking, Mom then searches for her in their garden.
Soon enough, Mom finds Maddie placing her paws on the plant’s concrete barrier, mulling what to do next. And, even before the puppy can act on her impulse, Mom warns her not to play in the mud.
